I became a BEAN Investor December 2018 after I came across a post promoting the corporation and its investment opportunity. After doing some research I immediately decided to become an investor and I am officially a security holder in the BEAN Corporation. African Americans have the 16th largest buying power in the world and contribute 1.2 Trillion dollars to the United States GDP. Just imagine the impact we’d have on our own community if we refocused that buying power into ourselves.
I am honored to be a Day-One Investor not only because of its endless possibilities but because of what it stands for and represents. It’s a social network created to elevate and economically advance urban communities and people who look like me by connecting consumers with black-owned businesses, professionals and leaders and as a black-owned business myself, being a part of this community was priority.
This is monumental and I am so proud to be a part of it! I am constantly approached about investment opportunities but this ONE aligned with me & my values. Thank you so much Darren Walker (IG: @darrenwalker504) for creating this platform and opportunity!
“I believe that a rising tide lifts all boats. Everyone will benefit from BEAN but especially those who have historically been marginalized and oppressed. BEAN is not about being anti any group. Some of BEAN’s most passionate advocates make up many races. BEAN wants to work towards creating more economic advancement and equality among those who need it most..”
